Description: Stunningly clean 1956 Gibson L-50!Really amazing condition! Literally seems like it's 2 or 3 years old and not 68!Has been very well looked after and played very little.No cracks or loose bracing. Original frets have never been dressed or even polished.Plays really great on every fret with very low action (no buzzing or anything like that) -12th. fret high E string height = 1/16"Currently set up with light gauge 80/20 bronze strings (12's).The pick guard is perfectly flat -not concave or convex as is often the case.The neck is not chunky -the perfect profile.Good neck angle -the bridge adjustment screws are not bottomed-out and there are a few more rotations left for the future.Truss rod works.A very clean guitar with very few inconsequential dings. There is a spot on the back where the strap it was lying on in the case for decades reacted with the finish. . . .also the same strap reacted with the finish on the bass side of the peghead -much less noticeable in person. There is none of that ugly finish checking some folks call "cool" for some reason.Tuners were replaced decades ago with high quality Japanese replacements. 100% perfect fit!This guitar has never been buffed -it's just clean.The case is just awesome!
