This is wearable as is, perfect for making doll clothing. The top is sleeveless made of a cotton with a fine linen texture and weave. The skirt is a very fine wool with a fancy embroidery stitched detail around the hem and petite open-work. Opens in the back with three mother-of-pearl buttons. The dress is hand made, finely finished with French seams inside. The skirt is pleated at the waist, it is 11 1/2" long by 46" wide. The dress is 21 1/2" long form shoulder to hem, 27" around under arms, waist 26". Excellent condition, no tears, no stains, sturdy, clean,. These are lovely old natural fabrics and would made wonderful doll clothes with some tailoring. The color is ivory, the top is a lighter shade and the skirt is a rich creamy ivory tone.
