Description: This vintage Hummel figurine is a beautiful piece from the 1970s. Retreat to Safety HUM 201/I is a TMK 5 (1972-1979). Measuring 5.5 inches in height, this large Hummel is very hard to find in a TMK 5. Designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1948, it was originally called "Afraid." This Hummel is in very nice condition for its age. There is no crazing, repairs, or cracks. There is one tiny chip on the feather of the boy's hat. When displayed, it is very hard to see.
