Description: Set of 2 vintage Heisey Rose hand blown etched crystal sherbet glasses. These were produced between 1949 and 1957. The glasses are similar but a bit shorter than a Champagne Coupe glass. These are in good condition without chips or imperfections. I have 4 sets of these for a total of 8 - selling them in lots of 2. If you purchase multiple sets I will refund the extra shipping costs (I will just charge what I have to pay for shipping). A little history. In 1949, the Heisey company introduced its new etching 515 Heisey Rose. Designed by Jane Phillips, it became an immediate best seller for the company. The name of the pattern was always called Heisey Rose to distinguish it from all of the other rose patterns on the market. Its popularity can probably be attributed to the unique stem line that this etching was put on. The 5072 Rose stem incorporated a delicate rose at the bottom of the stem. There is a nice article published by the Heisey Museum in December of 2007 that has a copy of the original brochure for this line of glassware.
