Description: Pristine Highwave 9-Transistor FM/AM pocket radio. Interestingly, I can't find a model number anywhere on this little set. All of the other sets I have seen with this body are branded as Marvel radios, so this one seems at least slightly unusual in that respect. I didn't see any chips, cracks, or significant scratches when reviewing the radio. It fired up quickly, although I did have to slightly manipulate the contacts in the battery box/bar. I had no trouble pulling down stations on either the AM or FM band. Because of the slight manipulation needed to get the radio playing, I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work well. My guess is that it will be fine, but I would always rather underpromise and overdeliver, if that makes sense. Please note that the sets I find are all sold as-found.
