Description: This is a vintage Igorot child’s (boy) outfit/costume from the Philippines. Item is at least 60 years old and was purchase in the Philippines during the early 1960’s. Possibly made by Igorot tribe members themselves. The Igorot’s were from ethnic tribal groups located in the mountains/forest areas in Luzon Philippines. The head dress is made from weaved cloth, bone, feathers and what looks like plastic banding. It is approximately 5 inches wide. The necklace is made of beads( material unknown and what appears to be animal teeth. The pipe is made of wood (not a real pipe. It is approximately 5 inch’s long. The sash / lion clothe is made of what appears to be weaved cloth. It is approximately 50 inches in total length. The machete is made of painted hand carved wood.
