We have been a Klein Distributor for many years and are currently selling some of our older inventory of Klein Tools. These are not the oldest of the Klein Tools but more likely the second or third generation. You can tell by the color of the boxes. The first boxes that we had were a darker yellow with a matte finish and said Klein Pliers by Mathias Klein & Sons. This generation is a lighter glossy yellow box and says Klein Pliers and is signed Mathias A Klein Jr. as part of the logo.The pliers are in perfect condition, but the boxes have some tears or dents to them. if you are a collector and the box is important to you, please let me know and I will pick the best one for you. The D304-6 were designed with a rounded nose and smooth jaws. Curved handles provide better greater tool control. They are yellow plastic dipped. This coating is for comfort and not meant to be an insulation.
