Description: This is a Nifty Vintage Knotty Pine Trinket or Ring Box, with the hand painted image of an Elephant on the lid. The wooden box measures 3 ½” across, and about 2 ¼” tall, although it is hard to judge the height, as the lid is domed. The sides have a few tiny pine knots in it, and the top & bottom seem to have been cut from the center rings of a tree limb. The top has the painted image of a green Elephant, with tusks & trunk. The outside is varnished, while the inside is unvarnished. The inside contains 5 old Dice as a Bonus. The box is in very good condition, except for a small portion of the Elephant’s head where the varnish has chipped off, and appears as a slightly different color than the rest of it’s head.
