Description: Vintage Jeannette Glass Square Pressed Glass Pedestal Covered Wedding Cake Box Fingerprint Pattern Large, square pressed clear glass wedding cake box originating from the 1950s. This piece is also referred to as a wedding cake box, because it was designed to hold the first slice of the wedding cake for the bride and groom to enjoy after guests departed. It then became a cherished heirloom with wonderful memories in the couple's home. This fine example of pressed glass was fabricated by the Jeannette Glass Company, founded 1888 in Jeannette PA. Excellent vintage condition, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Please review all photos closely for condition as they are considered part of the description.
