VINTAGE MARCELLE Bb SOPRANO CLARINET - RARE METAL ALBERT SYSTEM for RESTORATION

Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a vintage "Marcelle" clarinet. This is a rare metal Albert system clarinet. Metal clarinets aren't rare, and nor are Albert system clarinets, but the combination of the two is exceedingly rare. This clarinet is marked Bb, and it measures 23 & 1/2 inches in length, indicating it is a low pitch model. It is silver plated. It has rollers on the pinkie keys. The serial number is P3486. This clarinet is being sold as is for restoration. It is not currently in playing condition and will require a full overhaul to be made playable. It is, however, in very good physical condition. The body is straight. There are no dents or dings, or even pings or nicks for that matter. The rim of the bell has not been bent. The keys are all moving freely and rebounding properly when released. The rollers are turning freely. The silver plate finish is essentially fully intact with some tarnish. There are a few spots where there is some surface corrosion, but that should come off easily with a chem clean. The pads and corks are definitely shot. This clarinet comes in a very vintage case. The case has sustained some damage (see pictures), and it is heavily worn, but still solid. The interior is a bit musty. There is no mouthpiece included. The only accessory is a lyre. There are two other pieces that were in the case that frankly I don't know what they are.
