Description: The Mirro Aluminum Company was an aluminum cookware company that existed in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, from 1909 to 2003. This is their vintage mid-century Model 394-M, which includes the heavy duty 4 quart pot, lid, handles, rubber seal for lid, inside trivet rack and pressure cooker regulator, or jiggler which reads 5/10/15 weight. Mirro produced cookware made to last from a super tough aluminum alloy. After all these years, this cooker is still shiny and bright, the handles are solid. Good working condition with no dents or dings. The bottom has some expected scuffs and stains from prior use. As with any pressure cooker, use caution when using and follow manufacturer's recommended instructions. Mirro's Use Instructions can be downloaded from the internet. My grandmother used this cooker so I know it is from the 1950s to 1960s. Measures: 8 ΒΌβ diameter, 6β H to top of lid, 16β across top of lid to end of handle, weighs 5 lbs.
