Description: Handcrafted, vintage, Moroccan glass bottle adorned with embossed metal. These bottles were used for religious ceremonies, weddings and burials to preserve perfumes or rosewater. Also used to sprinkle scented water around the house, or on the hands. This bottle is a rounded rectangle shape, smaller at base than neck. The embossed metal decorates bottle and is flat on the bottom. The glass is a deep, deep, deep purple that looks black without light shining on it. The embossed metal has a stone set in center of both front and back. One stone is missing. The other has been rubbed to a nub, Please see photos for a closer look.
