Description: VERY RARE VINTAGE OLD STOCK PHILLIPS 66 FIBERS NATURAL OFF-WHITE TO BEIGE COLORED WESTERN COWBOY HAT AUTHENTIC MEMORABILIA FROM THE 1930-60S ERA, I HAD 2 OF THESE FOR OVER 20 YEARS AS A COLLECTOR BUT LOST THE OTHER ONE. THIS HAS NEVER BEEN WORN BUT IS BANGED UP, WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE WORN AS A SERIOUS WEAR HAT, JUST A TOURIST BUY AS THE MATERIALS ARE SUCH: A STRAW LIKE WEAVE BUT PLASTIC TEXTURE SO IT COULD HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE 60S, HAS A PAPER PHILLIPS 66 FIBER FRONT, A RED PLASTIC WESTERN STYLE BAND SURROUNDS THE OUTER CIRCUMFERENCE, OUTSIDE OF THE HAT HAS A WHITE PLASTIC PIPING TRIM, THESE IS A 1/4" SMALL HOLE ON THE INSIDE AROUND THE BAND FROM I BELIEVE A STAPLE THAT HELD THE RED BAND INTO PLACE & IT IS BANGED UP NOT OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION, MAYBE A COWBOY HAT STEAMER COULD PERFECT TO ORIGINAL CONDITION, MEASURING INSIDE CIRCUMFERENCE 22" AROUND, I CANNOT KNOW IF THIS WILL FIT ANYONE, IT MAY FIT SOME CHILD, WOMAN, OR SMALL MANS HEAD, USE THE HAT CHART BELOW FOR AN IDEA Vintage garments are decades old & may have accumulated dust or dirt, a fiber, a hair after all these years. This could be expected as even if the vintage garment was not worn, it has still been in storage for sometimes 50 years. Leather or fabric may be scratched off in color, a mark, hardware can be dull or old looking as anyone who buys an old garment should expect to find. Vintage sizes were accurate to smaller builds of the past, sizes were in some cases far smaller than today manufacture sizes. I offer the measurements to compare to a well fitting garment.
