Description: This is a 10.5" heavy crystal mini lamp which is electric and uses a night lite light bulb. I had another similar lamp and I replaced the bulb with an LED night light bulb which was brighter. You can see the cord has an on and off switch which makes it convenient to turn on the lamp especially if it is going to be used on a bedside table. I have used a similar lamp on my kitchen window sill and left it on at night which is very nice when you don't want to turn on all the kitchen lights. Likewise this could be a good lamp for a bathroom. The crystal shade was removed for cleaning and examination. I polished the finial and the metal harp which could use a bit more work but i didn't what to remove the harp. In the photo showing the lamp without the shade you can see there is a washer that goes on the top of the shade and then the metal ring goes on top of the washer ending with the finial. I think the washer probably should be replaced as well as a similar washer on the top of the harp which the shade rests on. These washers get stiff and dry with age.
