You can use it with or without the base if you wanted to use it on a swag lamp or on an existing wired base. It has no major wear, cracks or damage at all. Some minor wear/chips on the lip edge where it goes into a base but, nothing visible when inserted or major. It measures approx. 8.5" wide and is 8.5" tall and is 4" across the most at the opening to insert into a base. Excellent condition and color overall. Very heavy and solid. US shipping only.
