Description: Offered for sale: a rare Art Deco Perfume Pavots d'Argent by Roger & Gallet c. 1927. In 1862 Armand Roger together with his brother-in-law Charles Gallet formed the Roger & Gallet Company in Paris, France. They were renowned in their many perfume and toiletries items and worked extensively with Rene Lalique in creating beautiful and memorable designs. Pavot d'Argent ( Silver Poppy) is a molded clear glass bottle presented in a luxurious embossed and colorful oval shaped box. Both bottle and box is in excellent condition. Also present is the exterior packaging box, although one tab has become detached. Marked R. Lalique on bottom of the bottom and RL in small print at the end of the colorful presentation box. Bottle is sealed, with some evaporation of the contents. Bottle measures 2 1/2 " x 3 1/4" tall. Guaranteed to be as described or it can be returned for a full refund.
