Vintage Sascha Brastoff Star Steed California Pottery MCM Ceramic Planter Pot 6"

Description: One scalloped edge planter pot by Mid Century artist and designer Sascha Brastoff. This MCM pottery vessel is a dark grey ombre, decorated with Sascha Brastoff's iconic "Star Steed" design, and accented with leaves and roses. The star steed figure is signed with the "Sascha Br." signature. The horse design and the rose sprigs are both painted in shades of green, black and white, and decorated with gold leaf accents. The Sascha Brastoff pottery planter is in good vintage condition. The inside is heavily crazed, with some staining and hard water deposits on the inside rim of the planter. However, none of the staining is visible on the outside surface of the pottery, and with a plant inside, this piece of mid century pottery will display beautifully. As you can see on the last picture in this listing, I have two coordinating Sascha Brastoff plant pots with the same shape, dimensions, and similar design. However, this listing is only for one pot. Measurements: The Sascha Brastoff ceramic planter pot is 5 3/4" in diameter and about 4 1/2" tall. I do not offer returns, so please read the item description and look at all the pictures carefully.
