Description: For sale is an awesome Schutt OPO football helmet facemask. This mask is Schutt's old royal blue...perfect for that old BYU or Detroit Lions helmet. This mask will only fit on helmets made to accommodate standard facemasks (AiR XP, VSR 4, etc.) This mask was somewhat common back in the day, but now, a mask like this with the thin coating, in unused condition, is almost impossible to find. This mask is coated with Schutt's "thin coating". It is date stamped IIJ (September, 90). This mask has never been used, but it does show its years... because it's almost 35 years old! This is my only one, and who knows when you will see another one of these!!! If you are, or plan on working on a helmet and the guy wore this mask, you get one shot at something like this!!!
