Description: Vintage set of 8 black and gold laquer stemmed sake cups in original box and wrappings. Each lovely cup has a different flower design in gold on a black background and a gold interior. The cups are still wrapped in their original paper protective bags though they have been removed for the photos and possibly by the original owner to inspect. They all appear shiny and perfect with no sign of use or wear. No scuffs, no scratches, no damage of any kind. Each cup is marked, "Made in Japan" on the bottom. Handwritten on the cardboard box lid says "8 Sakazukis with Tray". There is no matching tray now, might have originally been included. Sakazuki means a cup for drinking sake in Japanese. The box is 6 1/2 inches square. Each cup is 2 3/4 inches high. Ships with USPS Ground Advantage.
