Description: We are selling this old Stanley Bailey No 5 1/2C cast iron plane body. It has a corrugated bottom and is 15" long. It has 3 patent dates listed 'Mar-25-02' 'Aug-19-02' and 'Apr-19-10.' I believe this makes it a Type 11 or 12, but I don't know which since the adjusting nut is not present. Pre-owned. This listing is for a partial Stanley plane - the body only. Wear/loss of original finish and some pitting is present.
