I think as the package ages the plastic gets tighter and it causes the sheet to wave a bit You can see the waves in the pictures. no damage to the stickers at all. So definitely not a storage issue There is no water damage or any signs of dampness to the packaging. On this particular pack the packages are pretty bowed as well. Although I am in a non-smoking/ pet free home my stickers come from all different places. Some may also be stored in basements or garages or attics .So some may have some odor .If extra sensitive please let me know and I can double check what is being sold in the listing. Also all vintage stickers may have some age discoloration or not stick as well due to age. I do my best to notate everything I know about them. But please see pictures to judge for yourself.
