Description: These pre-1971 U.S. Post Office Department Letter Carrier. This patch was used prior to 1971 when the Post Office Department was reorganized into the Postal Service. It was worn by an active letter carrier and removed from a uniform shirt. I have several set in various conditions. There are some staining on the patches from years in storage.
