Vintage US Military M-65 Field Jacket extra Large Vietnam War 1969 Dated USGI

Description: antique original USGI uniform United States military issue Model 1965 battle jacket The classic M 65 EXTRA LARGE - REGULAR these are Scarce in XL - R. size Used example with typical wear , ( you reinactors won’t have to worry about damaging a ‘ mint ‘ jacket - This is well broken in - totally wearable - used ( you won’t feel guilty for actually wearing this example ) it has a couple of slightly open seems on the forearms ( easy to fix ) The bottom / lower hem has opened up - And is detached from the lining- ( along the bottom in back - easily Re-hemmed if desired ) The inside of one of the lower pockets has been re stitched from wear ) it still has the built in hood the buttons zipper and snaps all work the ‘ start ‘ tab for the zipper is slightly frayed, but it is still functional It has a lightly faded SEABEE insignia stenciled on the upper pocket ( the stenciled Seabee DI can probably be scrubbed off, for your army / USMC impression This coat has the classic ‘ been there - done that look ‘ there is a small 3” sewn / rip repair at the jackets tail ( see the photos ) extra large Regular original larger sized M 65’s are getting difficult to find today A must have for the collector of viet nam era uniforms and militaria. Real Vietnam War mfg ! ( 1969 contract dated mfg tag ) . The jacket features the classic olive green color and has several pockets for storage.
