VINTAGE VHTF RELPO K1809 CRISS-CROSS CHRISSY LADY HEAD VASE HEADVASE VGUC MARKED

Description: Hello. I am offering a stunning and unique Relpo K1809 Criss-Cross Chrissy lady head vase from my own personal collection. She is very hard to find, especially in black and white She is highly sought after by and coveted among both new and seasoned collectors alike. Chrissy is wearing a white dress with a black neckline and black Xs. Her most outstanding feature is her matching hat with tiny black diamonds on the white Xs and a black rim. Her lovely strawberry blonde hair frames her face with bangs and curls. Her red lipstick matches her nails and her makeup is perfect. Her faux pearl necklace really helps to pull the whole outfit together. The lady has no cracks, paint loss, scratches, or repairs. She is in very good vintage condition. She has a small chip behind her black hat brim in about the "1 o'clock" position. The tip is just barely noticeable from the front if you know where to look. Chrissy has a factory indentation and a tiny stray black mark on the right side of her hat; they are not visible from the front. She has some faint discoloration near the base of her hand; it could be a result of having been used as a planter. The lady has clear crazing throughout but somewhat darker crazing behind her right shoulder and in the center of her back; it cannot be seen from the front. She also has a dark crazing line near the base edge just to the right of her hand; it is not a hairline. None of these relatively minor things detract from her overall attractiveness. Please disregard any white spots which are due to camera glare. Chrissy's dimensions are 7-1/4" h x 5-3/4" w x 4-1/4" d. The bottom of the vase is stamped K1809 RELPO. It also retains the entire original foil label which reads Relpo CHICAGO, ILL. MADE IN JAPAN. Barron's book of 2006 updated values shows $1600.00 for her in mint condition. The vase displays beautifully and is simply gorgeous. Criss-cross Chrissy will be packed especially carefully before shipping and will be fully insured.
