Description: Absolutely Stunning and Very Fine Quality Vintage Victorian Onix and Natural Pearl Mourning Set Black onyx is smoothly carved and highly polished into a beautifully shaped large cross, inlayed with 18k gold segments each set with natural lustrous seed pearls. The cross is suspended from 18k gold bale with black enamel and 3 tiny pearls. To accent the magnificent beauty of the cross are a pair of matching dangling earrings The earrings are carved into beautiful shape with scalloped bottoms and decorated with 18k gold and natural seed pearls The earrings have screw backs (which are gold filled) The are no hallmark on the gold part but it has been professionally tested and shows to be 18k Measurements: cross apps. 74mm x 48mm (without bale), earrings are 35mm long Total weight of the cross and earrings - 27.7g The set is over 100 years, a real showstopper! Please note: the pearl necklace on the pictures is not for sale, it was only used to show off the cross. Condition: The set is in very good condition considering its age. The cross has a very small chips on the right back top and bottom corner, which are not noticeable at all unless you are looking for it. Little loss of enamel on the bale in the top corner. One of the earrings has little enamel loss. Overall, the set is very well preserved.
