Vintage Viking Glass “Owl Glimmer” Fairy Candle Light Lamp #6900

Description: PATTERN DETAILSViking first introduced the Glimmer Line in 1967, and in 1969 the Owl Glimmers #6900 were added in 6 colors (Avocado, Bluenique, Honey [Amber], Crystal, Charcoal & Ruby). Viking continued producing the Owl Glimmers well into the 2000s. Although, as the lighter pastel colors were introduced in the 1980s, the darker original colors were phased out. Harked as the “Jewels of Light '' on the 1973 Viking catalog cover, the Glimmer line has been very popular since its introduction and maintained a significant following ever since. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONThis adorable amber glass votive candle glass lamp has 2 pieces and features an owl head. The diamond pattern on the back side & base look like feathers and give a beautiful twinkle look with a lit candle inside. It stands around 7” tall and is about 3.25” wide. Although over 40 years old, the Glimmer Owl Fairy Lamps are still very popular and this one would make a great addition to your collection.
