Description: This elegant antique low bowl was made by Weller Pottery between 1900 and 1925 when Weller was making hand decorated art pottery. It's a simple low shape with a curved rim and three small feet. The glaze is gorgeous and very unusual! There is a sponge or drip pattern of light green and very light pink along with a glossy clear glaze that highlights the color of the yellow clay. The bowl is approximately 9 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" high. It is marked on its base with the incised block letter "Weller" mark used from around 1900 - 1925. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or staining. It is lightly crazed overall and there are a couple of very small pieces of debris from the manufacturing process.
