Description: Vintage WINDSOR Model 2024, Tested-Working* >>>>>>>> READ DESCRIPTION !!!Got this in a lot from an old closed down hardware store. I say it was opened before as the orig batt was taken out, there were no little instruction sheet inside nor was the ear piece wrapped in a little plastic bag although it was wrapped in a green band maybe there was no little plastic bag. Yes, It works, however I could only get a couple of stations to tune in on both AM & FM. Was told I could do adjustments via accessing the back and yes I saw 7 colored slotted adjustment screws. (see Photo) Not knowing what I would be doing I figured I'd just leave it alone and leave it up to whomever purchased it. From the writing on the outside of the box it seems it originally came with a 9v battery that someone back in the day fortunately removed. The little snap on battery terminal's little vinyl piece has split I would say do to old age but the connections still work as I did snap in a 9volt to test the radio. Perhaps a dabs of clear silicone and a clothes pin to hold it together while it dried would fix it up. The antenna pulled out firmly and dead straight. The volume and tuning wheels function as best as I can tell as I said I could only tune it a couple of stations. The volume wheel clicks on and off and you can adjust the volume. I did not try to undo the earphone as I figured I would never be able to get it back into that green band. Haven't seen any of this exact type listed anywhere, does that make it rare? This Radio will be well packed for shipment. I am downsizing so things will be priced to sell! Will be listing parts, hardware, HVAC, electrical, tools, garage items, man cave, steampunk, old vintage bits and pieces, swap meet stuff..... I will combine shipping.
