Description: Poor - Fair Condition. There is an old repair on the paw; I can see a hairline crack from the top of paw down to the tip of the shield, with some old glue residue. There are several chip damages on the edges, near the base, and the carving itself. Some fine hairline cracks, and surface peels. Some scratches and color wears on surface. There is a piece of wood (not original) attached to the base. The base is not even and will wobble if placed on flat surface. Underneath the base wood, there are uneven carvings. This sculpture is heavy. Some discolorations and residue between the grooves. This sculpture was well carved, with good definitions. The lion's expression has a faint "worried" or "concerned" look.
