Description: Here is a lovely WS George Pottery Co. fruit or dessert bowl that's asymmetrical round of the Shasta shape line. It was produced in East Palestine, Ohio in 1951. The company advertised this fine dinnerware shape as "...stunning shape...practical service features that appeal to every housewife". On the center of shiny white bowl with a MCM small lug-like handle are delecate brown pine cones and green & gold needles on a thin branch. The bowl is in very good condition with almost no utensil marks. It is free of scratches, chips, cracks and crazing. It measures 5 5/8" in diameter with 1 1/2" high sides. It weighs 6 ounces.
