Description: This is an old yacht ensign flag made of nylon. It has embroidered stars and anchor, along with sewn stripes. The header has a beautiful patina, as well as aged grommets. The anchor is fouled in a circle of stars. The design of the flag was created by an Act of Congress in August 1848 as a flag used by licensed yachts. Please see pictures for more details.
