Description: I believe that this beautiful, simple, and refined tea cup and snack plate set is Yamaka brand china from Japan, but it is unmarked so I can’t be certain. The snack plate, which has an indentation for the tea cup, is scallop shaped and gold rimmed. It has delicate, mostly light purple violets on the white background. The plate measures 8” across. There are a couple small areas on the plate rim that have lost some gold and small imperfections on the plate, that I believe are from manufacturing. The cup which measures 3.5” across the rim also has some tiny areas of gold loss. The violet inside of the cup is very sweet. Also inside the tea cup are imperfections including the black dot.
