One of the classics written in LATIN and well illustrated, unfortunately, only the second volume of a 2 volume set is present here. Clean and tightly bound hardcover book bound in full leather, spine with 5 raised bands and read leather label with gilt title, with following noted defects: front hinge is loose; leather worn and rubbed especially at front hinge spine extremities and corners; front end sheet has been partially (but neatly) removed; book plate; title page is unevenly age tanned; partial removal of old ink inscription on title page has led to removal of tome number and has resulted in 2 tiny holes; binding partially split between pages 116 and 117, overall remains in very good antiquarian condition.
