It is made of Visconti proprietary crystal resin material with vivid green celluloid swirls. The cap is opaque green crystal resin, and this complements the clear barrel nicely. Purchase with confidence. This is a beautiful pen from a truly wonderful pen manufacturer. Mint in standard Visconti generic (not the original for this pen) leatherette box. Please note that the exact swirl pattern in the pen shipped will be different from that pictured in the photos. It may contain considerably fewer swirls.
