One jaw is slotted for holding onto wire or other small objects. The jaws fit tight, but there is a small gap on one side. The anvil is approx 2.25 inches wide and 3 inches long. The table/bench clamp is in good working order with its clamping cup well attached. All closed it measures approx 6 x 6 x 2.25 inchesThe only identifying mark is "Pat Pend" cast in the clamp base.
