Description: This auction is for a "VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA" SUBMARINE BADGE (S.S.R.N. SEAVIEW) - ANTIQUE GOLD/BRASS. The submarine badge has a head on view of the SEAVIEW between the dolphins and has three different colored stones. Red and Green Stones are in the eyes of the dolphins and a diamond (not real) on the bow acting as a light. The badge measures approximately 2.75" x 1.00". It has two screw post on the back for attachment. This badge design is not an authorized/official Submarine badge worn by any Navy's. It is purely a novelty badge dedicated to the memory of the 1960's Television show "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". There were only 25 of these badges made in this color. There are four different color versions of this badge (Antique Silver, Antique Gold/Brass, Shiny Silver, & Shiny Gold). This badge has the number "# of 25" engraved on the back. It also has "S.S.R.N. SEAVIEW BRASS" engraved on the back of the badge. This badge is similar to the U.S. Navy Submarine Warfare badge but instead of a U.S. Navy Submarine in the center, it has a head on view of the S.S.R.N. Seaview Submarine. This is a quality badge made by VANGUARD, the same company that makes insignia/badges for all the branches of the U.S. Military (Army, Navy, Air force, Marines, & Cost Guard).
