This work focuses on commemorative stamps, with b/w pictures of stamps. followed by a description of the significance of the person/event memorialized. Softcover, staple binding, 63 pp., b/w ills. This copy was the gift of U.S. Congressman Joseph Raleigh Bryson (D, SC). to a constituent. His name is stamped on the front of the volume. Bryson (1893-1953) an upcountry (Greenville area) South Carolina lawyer and politician. He served in the South Carolina State House of Representatives (1921-24) and Senate (1929-32). He later represented South Carolina's Fourth Congressional District, from 1939 until his death from a cerebral hemorrhage in 1953.
