Description: Up for your consideration is this beautiful vintage Mid Century Venetian bead necklace! This necklace consists of 23 Venetian glass beads finished with a brass screw clasp. The beads are made in the Sommerso technique with clear glass rolled through yellow and aventurine glass crumb, and then having another layer of clear glass overlaid over the top. These beads each measure approximately 13mm each (with some variation from bead to bead), and are capped with filigree brass caps at the end of each bead. The color is gorgeous. The necklace measures approximately 17" long in total wearable length. This piece is in overall EXCELLENT vintage condition! Circa 1950's.
