Description: ANTIQUE TOY AMSCO 1953 DOLL-E-HOUSEKEEPER CLOSET & ACC WITH LINOLEUM. AMAZING NEVER OPENED, NEVER USED.From my aunt's collection. She was an avid collector of many things but especially Amsco toys, Dolls, and other 50's toys and STUFF. This fabulous Doll-E-housekeeping set was never opened only her display. I did not want to pull anything apart. My pictures show items the best I can without pulling anything out of the unit. I was able to open the cabinet on the top and set out many items that were visible and accessible. Items never used. Only displayed. Apparently, there are several variations of the Housekeeping Cabinet set. This set is from the mid 50's. "To thrill young housekeepers! cleaning items, housed in heavy fiberboard cabinet! charmingly decorated! Brass-plated hardware: washable, moisture-resistant, crack-proof finish." The playset is mustard yellow color and made of heavy corrugated carboard. Based upon various ads I have reviewed online it appears there may have been several different variations over the years. This set is from the mid 50's as far as I ascertain. I have never seen any like this the condition is unbelievable. The set includes the following: 1- fabulous fiberboard cabinet with metal hardware,2- Red Carpet sweeper with handle,3- Gold Seal linoleum rug (has never been removed from cabinet or opened), 4- Broom with red handle,5- 6 1/2-in. plated rust-proof steel pail with handle,6- Cotton yarn mop with handle,7- scrub brush,8- Red platic dustpan,9- Yellow Sponge, 10- 2-oz.can Ajax cleaner,11- 2oz box Vel12-Box of Brill pads,13-Dust Brush,14-pretty yellow and green plastic apron 10x15 in., 15- Aeromist refillable glass cleaner in refillable squeeze bottle. some liquid may have evaporated as it is not full.16- direction sheet. The Cabinet measures approximately 29" x 18" x 6.5" The shipping box 13" x 24" x 31" and weighs approx. 10 pounds.
