Description: Beautiful antique vintage walking stick cane custom made. A coin Una Peseta silver De Espana is embedded into the top of the walking stick cane. The Reverse side of coin would depict the likeness of King Alfonso / Child King VIII. Alphonso had 5 coins minted during his reign. The PG mark indicates it was minted in 1896. The coin is in AU to UNC quality with stamped details clear and defined with the crown, crest and famous columns. Below the coin is a sterling silver band monogrammed with the owner's name: R.A. Byington in beautiful script style. The floor tip is bronze. I believe the wood to be a hardwood, most likely mahagony. There are a few minor, expected nicks and scratches. It is a support or for presentation purposes. The provenance is from my grandfather; he was a friend and the executor of Mrs. Byington's estate. The measurements: 35.5" long; 3/4" wide at top of cane. The sterling band: 1 1/2" x 3/4" wide. Bronze tip: 7/8" x 3/8".
