Description: They just do not make things like they used to anymore. I checked that this worked by putting it in my fridge for a minute and it did drop in temperature. This is the cutest thermometer to add that special touch to any kitchen. It is a beautiful copper color the metal itself I am not sure what it is made out of but I think that it is tin and it is copper coated. This is the most intact and quality vintage teapot thermometer that I have seen, all the temperatures are still very legible. It is a used item so it does have some patina due to wear.
