Description: Beautiful Mid-Century West Germany Carsten-Tonnieshof High Shoulder/Urn Style Pottery Vase made during the mid 1950's. The vase is a teal color with gold vertical drips/striping. The inside top where you can see into the vase is gold as well. The rest of the inside is painted black. The vase is 7 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" at its widest point. The bottom is embossed with the model #58V18 and W. Germany. This pattern was designed by the owner's wife Trude Carsten and sold for a short while in the 1950's. The vase is in excellent undamaged condition and the paint is very crisp and vivid with no signs of wear.
