1900s Vtg Edwardian White Cotton Tea Dress W 28” Button Bow Embroidered Antique

Description: Antique Edwardian era (1912-1918) full length, half sleeve, white cotton tea dress with crochet covered buttons down the front and lovely embroidered bow motif that runs down the entire front of the dress as well as the lower sleeves. Lace trimmed collar and cuffs, made from a very light, plain weaved semi-sheer cotton. The front features hook and eye closures from the collar to around the hips. From the hips to the floor, the front is sewn closed. The crochet buttons are decorative the whole way down. Measurements Length: 51” center back collar seam to hem Chest: max 38”-40” (19”-20” pit to pit max) Waist: 28” Hips: free (up to 60”+) Sleeve: 24” from center collar to lace cuff edge, 12” from underarm. Shoulder: no shoulder seam. Condition: Overall good vintage condition for its age (over 100 years old). I have not tried to mend or stain remove anything. Some signs of age and wear including: -Some small pinholes throughout that are a few millimeters wide - the most notable is on the back left shoulder blade area and measures about 6mm long, one on the right shoulder (maybe from a hanger) that is about 7mm long. -An area on the back lower right side of the skirt near the bottom with several small holes (under 5mm) and a few small (under 7mm) light discolored spots (yellowish). A few tiny yellowed spots under left underarm (probably from a pin rusting) -The lace on the left cuff has a small tear and needs a few stitches where it attaches to the sleeve. Also a spot on the right shoulder seam that needs some stitches, as well as left underarm. -some discoloration around bottom hem There may be a few other loose threads, discoloration spots, or small holes that are not specifically mentioned, but I’ve done my best to note/photograph anything I saw.
