VTG HERMES-LIKE Black REPTILE HANDBAG No Label BEAUTIFULLY CONSTRUCTED

She loved this style as she had three bags very similar. I believe there was a pocket inside that may have had a label, but it has come off, the pocket, not the label. You can see where something was stitched, but there is nothing corresponding to the stitching. I also believe some powder was spilled inside. It's barely detectable and there is a faint fragrance of vintage Coty face powder. I find it delightful. I noticed a bag from the 50's with a Saks Fifth Avenue label that is very similar (same shape and hardware) but the straps are different. The handle on this bag is so nice! Beautiful construction. High quality. The leather needs conditioning, it is starting to dry out, causing the cracks in the fold over flap. The style and the quality remind me of an alligator, LEDERER labeled, bag that was also in my m-i-l's collection. VERY HERMES-LIKE! All vintage items are sold "as is".
