The brass has a patina that makes them look almost pewter in color. The details on the sculpt of the head and wings is nicely detailed. Both are in good shape. There are no nicks and are overall clean. One of the swans' wings open a little hard (see video). They could benefit from some kind of grease on the rivets. You could probably use something like butter, also since this would be very close to your salt, you probably want to use something that's food safe if you want to use them.
