Description: VTG Sterling Ring Raised Inlay Size 4.5 Turquoise Lapis Native American Signed This is a marvelous little ring with beauty and craftsmanship galore. First, the sterling silver band is warped into sort of a wave-like shape. Then, pieces of turquoise, webbed turquoise, lapis lazuli, and orange, red, and purple pieces of spiny oyster shell are inlaid on top of the silver band. The shape of the band, the color of the stones, and the construction with the stones sitting on top of the shank all contribute to an astonishing little ring. It is a size 4.5. The band tapers from 1/8" wide at the face to 1/16" wide at the bottom. The inlay section is about 1 1/4" long. It weighs a modest 4.0 g. There are two hallmarks (three if you count the "sterling" hallmark) on this ring. The first is "TSF", representing the artisan studio Touch of Santa Fe. The second is for the artist "AM".
