Description: WALTER B. GIBSON STATE OF MAINE REGISTRATION FROM 1961 FOR HIS GREEN AND WHITE 1959 CHRYSLER STATION WAGON. I FOUND THAT CHRYSLER MADE ONLY TWO STATION WAGON MODELS IN 1959 AND FOR FUN HAVE POSTED TWO PICTURES OF A GREEN AND WHITE WAGON. ****NOTE THAT YOU ARE BUYING THE LONE PAPER REGISTRATION ONLY. THE TWO CAR PICS ARE JUST FOR REFERENCE. "Chrysler offered two station wagons in 1959, the New Yorker Town & Country, like this six-passenger example, and the Windsor Town and Country. The Town & Country name is a venerable one for Chrysler, having been in use for many years right up until recently. Production volumes for ’59 Chrysler station wagons were notably low. According to Hemmings, there were 2,751 total wagons assembled and only 444 six-passenger New Yorkers – rare indeed." Purchased by me at the Walter B. Gibson estate sale in Kingston, NY on 4-16-1996. *See my other listings for more Shadow-related paper items from the Gibson estate sale.
