Description: Wargamer Magazine #62 Fallen Eagle The Battle of Khe Sanh Vietnam, 1968 Fallen Eagle is a game depicting the defense of the US Marine base at Khe Sanh in South Vietnam against forces of the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) in 1968. The Marines were surrounded and outnumbered but held until the garrison was relieved. Despite what was essentially a victory of US arms, television coverage of this and the subsequent Tet Offensive would bring the horror of the Vietnam War into the living rooms of America, eventually leading public opinion against American involvement in Southeast Asia Points are scored for certain objective hexes on the map and for units eliminated. The U.S. total is subtracted from the N.V.A. total and the resulting amount determines the level of victory.
