Description: 8" by 12" color print of Western Airlines Lockheed L-188 Electra N7141C in the early 1960s. This Electra was delivered new to Western in March 1961 and stayed in the fleet until 1971. It was converted to a freighter in 1968. It went on to fly for a number of airlines including Pacific Western. It was written on on January 5, 1979 in a landing accident at Inigok, AK while operating for Great Northern Airlines. Scanned and restored from a duplicate 35mm slide.****All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise, and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper. Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed. EBay image is a low resolution scan. Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.
