Description: NOTE: In order to keep the cost of shipping on small seed orders as low as possible, I use first class stamped letter mail without tracking. It usually works very well, but sometimes is a little slow and occasionally they don't show up at all (or at least that's what I'm told). So, to be able to keep using this low cost service on Ebay, I need you to PLEASE do NOT open a case if you do not receive your stamped envelope seed order. There is no way for me to provide tracking for a stamped letter order, an Ebay will require me to upload one if you open a case. I WiILL NOT be able to resend them for you, and they punish ME for USPS mail failures. So please.... JUST MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY and let me know you haven't received them, and I'll be more than happy to either resend them out for you or issue you a refund. If you have an order under $20, and you choose free shipping, LOOK FOR you order in your letter mail. They will be in a white envelope with a butterfly or flower sticker on it. Choose From 75 to 5000 BULK Seeds~ Wild Smooth Sow Thistle~ Sonchus Oleraceus Seeds are always from the most recent growing season, tested and with guaranteed high germination rate Found in the wild by the road, in cracks of driveways, in fields, and as weeds in your garden.... if you don't know how to recognize the plant, you may miss the opportunity to harvest from it!! We have these plants growing wild all over our property here, and I eat and use them medicinally on a regular basis. They're wonderful! When the leaves are harvested young, they are very mild and tasty and can be eaten raw or cooked. This plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, the same as the wild lettuces. The plants have a lot of similar qualities; the flowers look almost identical, the leaf shapes are similar, and many people mistake them for wild lettuces. However, they are a completely different plant. That said, a lot of people will swear up and down that the Sow Thistle works in exactly the same ways medicinally as the wild lettuces, and are just as potent. And that the leaves are tastier. I like them both.... and yes, I do use them interchangeable medicinally and will have to agree that they are pretty similar in result. I would LOOOOOOOOVE SOOOOO much to be able to get into all kinds of great info about this and all my other wild medicinal plants on here, and provide you with a ton of information but unfortunately there is a CLAMP DOWN on that information these days, and I'm not allowed to do that. And even when I try to follow their supposed rules and only give testimonial info, I still get listings removed. So, please, spend an afternoon doing research on this plant (and the wild lettuce too!), and then try it out and see what you think. A lot of herbal medicine is trial and error. So the sooner you start, the sooner you'll get to a place that makes you HAPPY!! :) I do not include tracking on shipping, unless you are combining these with another item/items. Shipping usually takes about 3-4 days. They will be in a regular first class letter envelope. Sprinkle the seeds on the soil and press in, do not cover, as they need sunlight to germinate. Keep the soil moist until you get seedlings, then thin to about 12" apart, depending on how large of a plant you want. If given a lot of space, these plants can get very tall.... I've seen them get taller than me, so like 6" tall! That, of course, is with the perfect soil and sun conditions. They like full or mostly sunny location with some wind protection. That is why you frequently find them growing next to a fence, or building, or along a south facing treeline... etc. Seedlings usually emerge in from 7-14 days. Planting instructions and general plant information will be included with the seeds, and I always give bonus seeds with every purchase (either additional seeds of the one your ordered, or a special surprise seed pack) **************************************************************** I do not accept returns on seeds, but will resend seed orders if they do not arrive within 14 days. we send out small seeds in regular letter envelopes. These do not have tracking. So if you haven't received your seeds within that amount of time, just let me know so I can send them out again for you. If there is a problem with your seed order, please let me know asap so I can resolve the issue for you! We <3 organic gardening and totally enjoy sharing the fruits of our labor with our friends here on eBay~ Every order is a blessing, and we want all of our fantastic buyers to be 100% happy with their purchase. So contact us ASAP if you aren't (for any reason) thrilled with your order.
